Eyemouth's Fiona goes from junk food to an adrenaline junkie
Fiona, 30, from Eyemouth, was spurred into her own slimming regime after lying about her weight in order to take part in a sponsored skydive.
She discovered her passion for adrenaline-packed activities a year after her daughter, Joelle was born.

“I wanted to give something back so I signed myself and my boss Tracey up to do a charity skydive”
After months of fundraising the pair took to the skies, and it wasn’t until later Fiona admitted to lying about her weight on her application form.
“We had raised so much money there was no way I wasn’t taking part so I took the risk and shaved a few stone off my weight on the form. Luckily it didn’t end in disaster.”

Fiona says years of indulging her love of baking and convenience meals had taken its toll so she made a decision that has changed her life.
“I was petrified I would feel judged and ridiculed when I joined so I kept it a secret, however when I walked into the lively room full of laughter and received a warm welcome from Carole, the consultant during my New Members Talk I could’ve cried with relief!
“I was soon telling all my family and friends about how I was managing to enjoy all my favourite family meals such as spaghetti bolognese and Chinese ‘fakeaways’ while shedding the pounds. With every dress size I dropped my confidence soared and the compliments flooded in.”
