Local renewable energy specialist Green Square is hosting a series of free talks.
Led by Green Square’s Kelso director, Oliver Thyne, the evenings will provide information about the range of renewable energy products on the market, and the ease of going green. He will also pass on making-money tips arising from government initiatives, including the Green Deal and the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). The events, which begin at 6.30pm, will also give people the opportunity to ask any questions they have about which technology is best for their homes.
Aimed at both homeowners and property professionals, the seminars will cover financial to environmental benefits; which home improvements qualify for the RHI, incentives – understanding where the RHI sits alongside other energy-efficiency schemes, and choosing the right product for you.
The talk dates are: Border Hotel, Kirk Yetholm, February 12; Caddonfoot Village Hall, February 25; The Lodge, Carfraemill, March 11; Sprouston Village Hall, March 25.
