Electro-fishing in the Wilton Burn current
The park, currently undergoing a £3.64 million Heritage Lottery Fund-supported re-generation project, is home to a section of the River Teviot and Wilton Burn.
Adults and children are invited to attend from 2-4pm and enjoy an electro-fishing demonstration in the Wilton Burn hosted by the Tweed Foundation.

Hide AdGordon Webber, park regeneration project events manager said: “Electro-fishing is a fascinating scientific survey method used to sample fish populations to determine abundance, density, and species composition.
“The Tweed Foundation will use this technique to give visitors an amazing opportunity to discover what is in the water this year.”
In addition to the Electro-fishing demonstration, visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Hawick Museum also located in Wilton Lodge Park.
