PUPILS at Kelso High School are among hundreds across Scotland who have come together in choirs to ‘Sing for Pudsey’, as part of this year’s annual BBC Children in Need appeal.

First rehearsals will be this Saturday and then all the choirs will assemble at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow on Friday, November 18, for Children in Need night.

The BBC Scotland ensemble will form part of a 2,500-strong choir where children across the UK will sing simultaneously to back youngsters who are currently being taught to sing and have confidence on Gareth Malone’s CBBC show, ‘The Big Performance’.

BBC Scotland now wants people of all ages and backgrounds to form a choir with colleagues or friends, raise some money with their own performances, and then send footage in for inclusion on the programme.
