Pop music power couple Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift could be about to get married in a Berwickshire castle, it has been claimed.
The couple, who recently celebrated their one year anniversary on March 6, are understood to have selected Wedderburn Castle near Duns as their venue of choice.
A spokeswoman for the castle said this week that the venue is “exclusive, discreet and personal,” and would not comment further on any wedding.
The couple have previous form when it comes to Scotland and its historic buildings.
It was claimed last year that the Shake It Off singer was understood to be interested in buying the £4.6million Tower of Lethendy, located 14 miles north of Perth.
It was thought that this was so the couple have a base close to boyfriend Calvin Harris’ family. Superstar DJ Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, grew up in the Dumfries suburb of Georgetown before hitting the dizzy heights of fame with hits We Found Love and Summer.
The Tower of Lethendy boasts eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms in the main house - a Scottish Baronial manor house which dates back to 1570 - as well as two gate lodges and its own 18-hole golf course.
