SHAKESPEARE at Traquair is back on Wednesday as the amateur dramatic group tells the story of Romeo and Juliet within the grounds of the Peeblesshire house.

The eight-day run stars Matthew Burgess as Romeo and Natasha Stiven in the other title role, while David Bon is Tybalt.

Kath Mansfield, this year’s Shakespeare at Traquair director, has promised a lively theatrical event with love, passion and danger to entertain even the most dyed-in-the-wool cynic.

Tickets are available from the Eastgate Theatre in Peebles (phone 01721 725777) at a cost of £12 (£10 concessions).
