Sheriff orders Hawick 27-year-old convicted of assaulting former partners to behave himself

Jori Silver pleaded guilty to carrying out the first attack in September 2013.

He also admitted assaulting another partner on June 16, 2019.

Silver, of Hillend Drive in Hawick, owned up to a third charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner on August 10. last year.

Sentence had previously been deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to see if Silver could comply with a community payback order imposed for another offence and be of good behaviour for two months.

After calling again at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, the case has been further deferred until Monday, August 17.
