Sentencing for Galashiels pub attack deferred until August

A man responsible for an assault at a Galashiels pub has had sentence deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court for a personal appearance.

Andrew Wood, 41, of Elm Row in Galashiels, pleaded guilty by letter to kicking and punching John Fraser to the head and body to his injury at Henley’s Bar, in Island Street, on May 10.
