MUSIC lovers will head for the Borders this weekend when the annual Selkirk Sessions traditional music festival takes place from Friday to Sunday.
It’s mostly pub-based, but also includes competitions and workshops on Saturday.
Competition classes are the Chorus Cup; 16 and over instrument; 16 and over song and poetry; 16 and under instrument/song.
Morning workshops are for spoons, tea chest bass and washboard, and both the workshops and competitions take place in O’Malley’s.
Session venues include the Town Arms, The Fleece, Conservative Club, Selkirk Bowling Club and O’Malley’s. Details are on posters throughout the town and the Selkirk Sessions website.
