Thomas Dickson has been fined £150 and ordered to pay a £10 victim surcharge.
Appearing from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court, he pleaded guilty to being in contact with partner Molly Baxter and entering Brisbane Place in Kelso during the early hours of Friday morning despite being banned by court orders from doing so.
Depute fiscal Fiona Hamilton said police had been called due to shouting being heard in the stairwell at a property in Brisbane Place during the early hours of the morning.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow said his client, of Inchmyre in Kelso, was under the mistaken impression that his bail conditions had been lifted following a previous breach of bail
