Police seeking to trace men said to have been seen acting suspiciously at old Galashiels hotel

The pair were seen exiting the old Abbotsford Arms Hotel in Stirling Street at around 2.30pm and were last sighted heading towards Currie Road.

Both are said to be white, with one being aged 20 to 25 and the other 40 to 50.

The younger man is described as slim, with short brown hair. He was wearing a light-coloured T-shirt, dark jeans and dark trainers.

The older man is said to be of large build, with thinning brown hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt described as very dirty, black shorts, black socks and black trainers.

Anyone able to help identify them is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 1,985 of August 10.
