Pair in court over theft of drugs from Boots in Kelso
Two men have appeared in court in connection with a burglary at a Kelso pharmacy this week.
Roderick Kennedy, 37, and Andrew Howarth, 39, are accused of breaking into the Boots store in Kelso Square and stealing prescription drugs from it on Tuesday.
They are both charged with theft by housebreaking, and Kennedy faces an additional allegation of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.

Hide AdThe pair, both of Kelso, made no pleas during a private hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, April 9, and the case was continued for further examination.
Kennedy was remanded in custody and will appear in court again within eight days.
Howarth was released on bail until his next court date.
