‘Mindless act of vandalism’ damages car in Hawick
Police have issued an appeal for information after more than £1,000 worth of damage was done to a car in Hawick.
A blue Land Rover Freelander parked in Orrock Place was vandalised between Sunday 29 November and Tuesday 1 December.
PC Gary Brown of Hawick said: “This was a mindless act of vandalism which has caused the owner a significant amount of inconvenience, notwithstanding the financial implications.
“I would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident, saw any suspicious behaviour in the area during this time, or has any other information which can help with out enquiries to get in touch.”
