A 41-year-old man has been fined £150 for repeatedly sending text messages to an ex-partner in defiance of a court order banning him from doing so.
Terry Kennedy, of Kelso, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to breaching bail conditions after appearing from custody.
That offence was committed at a house in Croft Street in Galashiels between December 26 and 28.
His former partner Suzanne Baxter, 40, pleaded not guilty to a similar charge, and a trial date was set for March 24, with an intermediate hearing on February 24.
