Kelso 37-year-old fined £175 for not having certificate for air rifle
A former soldier has been fined £175 for possession of an air rifle without the proper certificate.
Adam Cockburn, 37, pleaded guilty to committing that offence at his home in Kelso’s Orchard Park on January 6.
A not-guilty plea to reckless discharge of a firearm was accepted by the crown at Jedburgh Sheriff Court, however.
