Police swooped on property in the town’s Bridgegate Court on Sunday.

Lothian and Borders Police said around 80 cannabis plants and other herbal material had been found during the intelligence-led raid.

Graeme White, 32, and Graeme Ellis, 31, both from Innerleithen appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.

Both were charged on petition with producing cannabis.
