Graeme Moffat, 37, of Lovel Court, Backdamgate, Hawick, was ordered in August last year to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work after admitting stealing four butane canisters from Borders Leisure, a camping shop in Hawick High Street, the preceding May.

However, at Selkirk Sheriff Court, he admitted having breached that order, citing problems with drugs misuse.
