Hawick 43-year-old back in court over alleged rape of young child
A Hawick man has made a second private court appearance in connection with alleged historical sex offences.
Ewan Peddie, 43, is charged with the rape of a young child and lewd, indecent and libidinous practices.
He made no plea during a hearing at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and was fully committed for trial.
Bail was refused, and Peddie was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
