Hawick 26-year-old to be sentenced next month for assaulting former partners
A man convicted of assaulting two former partners will be sentenced next month at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Jori Silver, 26, pleaded guilty to carrying out the first of those attacks in September 2013, and he admitted assaulting another woman on June 16 last year too.
Silver, of Hillend Drive in Hawick, also pleaded guilty to a third charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner on August 10.
Sentencing had been deferred until Monday, January 6, for the production of criminal justice social work and domestic violence reports, plus a restriction-of-liberty order assessment, but they were unavailable so it was further deferred until February 17.
Silver had originally denied 10 charges of assaults on four former partners, but, ahead of a planned trial, he pleaded guilty to assaulting two of the women and not-guilty pleas were accepted to the other charges.
