Galashiels man owns up to assault charge
A 20 -year-old has admitted assaulting another man to his severe injury.
Jack Ward, 20, of Coulter Avenue in Galashiels, pleaded guilty to punching and kicking the man to the body, dragging him along the ground and placing his hands around his neck.
The offence was committed at Glenfield Road West in Galashiels on November 26.
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court for the production of a criminal justice social work report until February 10
