Galashiels man ordered to behave himself after violent struggle with estranged wife
A Galashiels man who admitted assaulting his estranged wife has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next six months.
Mark Thompson, 50, of Greenbank Street, pleaded guilty to struggling violently with her at a house in Chiefswood Road, Melrose, on January 26.
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court until September 11.
