Gala man remanded after assaulting woman
A Galashiels man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of assaulting a woman to her severe injury and danger of life.
Christopher Ferguson, 29, is alleged to have committed that offence over the festive period.
He made no plea, and the case was continued for further examination.
Bail was refused, and Ferguson was remanded in custody.
