Child rape case continued to September
A preliminary hearing involving a 43-year-old man accused of historical sex offences has been continued.
Forty-three-year-old Ewan Peddie, formerly of Hawick but who gave an Edinburgh address, is charged with the rape of a child under 13 years of age and lewd, indecent and libidinous practices.
At a hearing last week, the case was continued until September 29 at the High Court in Glasgow.
