Anger at theft of a Hawick man's mobility scooter he used to go shopping
The theft of a mobility scooter in Hawick has been labelled ‘despicable’.
The black Shoprider scooter was stolen from the Loan area of the town on Thursday, January 21.
The vehicle was distinctive in that one of its indicator lens was missing and it only had one mirror.
Hawick and Hermitage councillor Davie Paterson said: “It’s absolutely despicable some low life could do such a thing. The poor guy was left without transport for awhile until he was able to get another one.”
