Randolph Hudson was also put on probation for a year and given a night-time curfew at his home in Leicester in England between the hours of 7pm and 7am for the next 12 months.
The 67-year-old had denied committing those historical offences at the property near Clovenfords 20 years ago but was found guilty after a trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
He touched an 11-year-old girl’s breasts over her clothing and exposed himself to the other girl when she was aged between six and eight, also touching her private parts, the court heard.
