39-year-old fined £425 over disturbance at ex's house in Galashiels
A 39-year-old man has been fined £425 for causing a disturbance at a former partner’s home then failing to show up at Jedburgh Sheriff Court for sentencing.
Blair Scott had previously admitted being thrown out of his partner’s home then repeatedly knocking on a door and windows for three hours before police were called.
He had pleaded guilty to committing that domestic-related offence at a house in Kenilworth Avenue in Galashiels, but failed to appear for sentencing.
Scott, now living in Edinburgh, also admitted a breach of bail by being in the house in Kenilworth Avenue despite being banned by a court order from going there.
