39-year-old admits causing disturbance at Galashiels house
A 39-year-old man thrown out of his partner’s home repeatedly knocked on its door and windows for three hours, leading to the police being called.
Blair Scott pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to committing that domestic-related offence at a house in Kenilworth Avenue in Galashiels on November 4.
Kate Irwin, prosecuting, said: “The couple had been in a relationship for about a year.
“The complainer asked him to leave because she believed he had been involved in drugs.
“He went away but returned at 8.15pm and was repeatedly striking the windows and doors wanting to get back in.
“This happened for the next three hours before the complainer eventually phoned the police.”
Sentence was deferred on Scott, now living in Edinburgh, until January 13 to see if he can come up with any reason why a non-harassment order should not be imposed.
