38-year-old handed £275 court bill for causing disturbance at Galashiels convenience store

Scott Dalgliesh, of Forest Crescent in Galashiels, was fined £175 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation for behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the Spar shop in Marigold Bank at Langlee on October 1.

Selkirk Sheriff Court was told that compensation will go to the shop employee caught up in the early-morning disturbance caused by Dalgliesh.
