32-year-old fined £100 for smashing car window in Peebles
A man has been fined £100 at Selkirk Sheriff Court for smashing a car window with a brick.
Thomas Mitchell, 32, pleaded guilty to committing that offence in George Street in Peebles on April 25.
Mitchell, of North Street in Peebles, claimed he had only been reacting to another man allegedly brandishing a knife at him.
