20-year-old given unpaid work order for assault in Galashiels
A man has been ordered to carry out 75 hours’ unpaid work at Selkirk Sheriff Court after admitting assault to severe injury.
Jack Ward, 20, of Coulter Avenue in Galashiels, pleaded guilty to punching and kicking a man to the body, dragging him along the ground and putting his hands around his neck.
That offence was committed in Glenfield Road West in Galashiels on November 26.
