17-year-old girls admit being in possession of ecstasy at Asda in Galashiels

Two teenage girls found in possession of a class-A drug in the cafe at the Asda superstore in Galashiels have been fined £120 each.

The 17-year-olds, from Galashiels and Tweedbank, pleaded guilty to being in possession of quantities of ecstasy at the Currie Road store on March 8.

The pair cannot be named for legal reasons.
