Galashiels Rotarians held their annual sponsored golf competition for the New Millennium Quaich Trophy at Torwoodlee golf club when 18 teams of four took part.

About £1,200 was raised on the day for local charities, but the main beneficiary will be the extension and refurbishment of the Macmillan facilities at Borders General Hospital.

This event originally took place on June 10, but was abandoned due to a torrential downpour flooding the course.
