Clelland will String along

gALASHIELS’ String Jam Club welcomes back its Songwriting Judges Panel winner Tom Clelland, alongside duo Albanach, next Saturday, October 29.

Hailing from East Lothian, Tom only decided to embark on a music career at the age of 50.

He started playing at local folk clubs and the Radio Sweethearts Club in Glasgowand then found himself playing in venues across the country, even as far away as Texas.

Albanach duo – Russell Ballantine and Paul Devery – formed in 2010 having played in various bands, quartets and trios for many years.

They have opened for the likes of Dick Gaughan and Michael Marra.
