Volunteers are the backbone of Guide Dogs and for the past 80 years have been raising funds, campaigning and looking after our dogs, and we’re looking for big-hearted souls to continue supporting us by opening up a local branch and looking after our puppies.
Our branch organisers are happy to take the lead and work with other volunteers in organising fundraising activities – everything from street collections to abseiling. If you’re good at motivating others and like a challenge then we want to hear from you.
Are you interested in becoming a puppy walker? Could you give one of our puppies a home for a year? We’re also recruiting for puppy walkers in the area to care for and develop our puppies. Puppy walking is a crucial part of Guide Dogs’ work.
