IN front of 350 of their fellow accountants at the recent National Accountants Conference, Selkirk-based Stark Main & Co was named as the UK’s Best Accountancy Practice.
Presenting the award, conference chairman Steve Pipe told those attending the event in Birmingham that more than 1,000 firms of accountants had been in the running for the award.
“Forty-one excellent firms were shortlisted, and Stark Main & Co came out on top,” said Mr Pipe. “The judging panel, which was made up of some of the most respected figures in the global accountancy profession who really knew what to look for, considered it to be an extraordinary firm.
