The Borders produces some of the most delicious food in the country – much of it unique to this corner of the world.

On our doorstep, we can buy farm cheeses, organic breads and bannock, tasty meats and charcuterie, and fresh berries and vegetables to eat at home.

This October, the Scottish Borders Food and Drink Network will be producing and distributing 20,000 copies of a free directory, listing all of the region’s producers, shops, delicatessens and eateries – bringing together a single source of where to buy and where to eat local food.
