BORDERERS are among those judging at next year’s Royal Highland Show in June.

Casting his eye over beef breeds for the beefbreeder championship and the junior beef inter-breed championship will be Ewan Brewis of Lempitlaw, Kelso while making the call on the beef interbreed pairs will be John Elliot of Roxburgh Mains, Kelso.

Breeder Ogilvie Jackson from Cossarshill Farm, Ettrick Valley, Selkirk will be choosing in the Cheviot rings while Gordon Gray, Sunnycroft, Lindean, Selkirk will be awarding the rosettes among the Texels.

Meanwhile Kate Dykes of Mendick Lea, West Linton will be judging the female Highland ponies in-hand.
