The Scottish Borders branch of the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT) and Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) was launched in 2013 and since then they have held quarterly events providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for their members and the wider accounting, taxation and legal professions.
The last event of 2014 was a very successful session, covering the various issues surrounding succession planning in farming.
The committee are now planning a special event on March 5 to celebrate the ATT’s 25th anniversary and are delighted that the ATT’s current president Natalie Miller will be speaking about career opportunities in taxation, highlighting the benefits of ATT membership.
The event will be held at Borders College, Galashiels, starting at 3pm (registration from 2.30pm) and will be followed by drinks and canapés from 4.30pm-5pm.
