Bringing Channel 4 to Accounts

Recently, TheSouthern published a letter from me in my quest to view a film called Accounts made in and near Kelso for Channel 4.

I was contacted by two people who had been involved in producing the film and have now had the great pleasure of seeing their creation again.

Although made in 1983, the film remains highly relevant today with its themes of growing up, family relationships, differences, forgiveness and integration in the community. The original play was highly acclaimed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1980 and The Times commented that the “quietly stated lines resonate with deeper implications”.

If you are interested in joining my campaign to ask Channel 4 to show the film again, please contact me on 01896 757861 or 07763 850087.
