At Earlston Camera Club’s final meeting of the 2014/15 season, members Curtis Welsh and Helen Pugh-Cook gave a presentation on “Everyday and rural India”.
The competition, “Wheels and Transport”, was for the Helen McDonald Travel Award, first awarded last year in memory of a long-standing club member. Prints – 1, Stephen Morris; 2, Curtis Welsh; 3, Eleanor Drummond. Digital – 1, Allan Drummond; 2, Curtis Welsh; 3, Angela Jewell.
At the previous meeting Dave Morris gave a talk on the world of architectural photography and showed images of his own and from photographers who inspired him.
Prints – 1, Curtis Welsh; 2, Linsey Drummond; 3, Stephen Morris. Digital – 1, Eleanor Drummond; 2 and 3, Helen Pugh-Cook.
Trophies for the overall print and digital points winners will be presented at the club’s annual dinner next month.
