650 homeless applications a year in the Borders
Figures made available by homeless charity Shelter show that in the last year there were 650 homeless applications made in the Scottish Borders.
Across the region there were 21 families in temporary accommodation on June 30 this year, including 41 children.
The data was put together in a project chronicling the last 100 years of homelessness in Scotland.
