Adele wins three categories at Hawick Camera Club awards

A farmer’s wife from Hawick has a growing reputation for her photography after a triple dose of success.

Adele Richardson, a partner at Bedrule Farm, won three of the 11 categories at this year’s Hawick Camera Club awards.

She won the landscape, image of the year - a drone shot looking down on a tractor in a field - and street photography trophies.

Adele, 50, who has been a member of the club for three years, said: “I’m so chuffed and thrilled that I have won my first trophies in my fiftieth year. They are taking pride place on the mantelpiece.” (PIC: BILL McBURNIE)
