Stewart’s Bistro reaping the benefits of new Jedburgh home
The Jedburgh eatery, named best cafe and bistro in south east Scotland at this year’s Food Awards Scotland, has moved from High Street a few minutes walk up town to Abbey Place.
Established in 2017 by chef Alasdair Stewart and wife Kerry, Stewarts still offers daily lunches but now also boasts an evening menu from Tuesday to Saturday, rather than just at weekends like before.

“Opening in evenings through the week has also been a great benefit to us, allowing us to offer a new bar menu. Meanwhile, the roaring fire has been a big hit with people enjoying dinner in front of it on these cold winter nights.”
Stewart’s can now be found at the former Forbes Bar at 1 Abbey Place.
