Schloss gift to hospital staff
As the region’s NHS nurses put their health on the line during the current ongoing coronavirus pandemic, a Borders hotel has made a donation of its luxury toiletries to staff at the Borders General Hospital.
Last Friday, staff from the Schloss Roxburghe hotel in Heiton dropped off the care packs, which include a selection of items like slippers, a toothbrush and Molton Brown soap and shower products “to give a small boost to our key workers – the nurses, doctors, porters, cleaners, admin staff, drivers and everyone who are working hard to keep the wheels in motion in this tricky time.”
A spokesperson from the hotel said: “We’re all doing our bit, staying home and keeping our NHS staff safe.
“Keep well, stay healthy and we’ll hopefully see you at Schloss Roxburghe again soon.”
