More than 20 events will take place between October 1 and November 6, including events organised by Business Gateway Scottish Borders, Royal Bank of Scotland, Skills Development Scotland, Scottish Borders Business Forum and Creative Arts Business Network, to name just a few.

Business Gateway manager Phil McCreadie said: “The success of last year’s business week, and the feedback from businesses, prompted us to expand the programme over a whole month to make it easier for people to attend more events.”

As part of Business Month there is a huge breadth of events taking place across the whole of the Scottish Borders which will interest people no matter what type of business they are in, or are considering establishing.”

Business Month will conclude with the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards 2015, this year being run by Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce. Nine awards are up for grabs, and more information on these, including how to apply, can be found via www.borderschamber.com.
