Bowhill Theatre presents a ghostly double bill

The unexplained creak on the stairs; the slowly turning door handle; the way that the hairs on your neck begin to stand on end..

Don’t Go Into The Cellar Theatre Company are experts in bringing the ghost stories of the Victorian and Edwardian era to new life for a modern audience.

On Friday, May 20 at 8pm, they will bring two classic stories by M.R. James to the stage at Bowhill Theatre, near Selkirk. ‘Casting the Runes’ is the story of a Bristish Museum researcher, who gradually realises that he has been cursed by an alchemist and occultist whose book he has recently reviewed.
