Bringing piece of Selkirk history to life
An event called Haining Living History 1830-1930 will see the house dressed with period furniture, and numerous exhibits and activities including an interactive Victorian classroom and laundry, baking, children’s crafts, a petting farmyard, vintage vehicles and a teddy bear hunt are lined up. There is also a competition for best period fancy dress costume.
The organisers are inviting anyone who has memorabilia that they would like to share to get in touch.
