The first concert of Kelso Music Society’s winter season takes place on Friday, October 19, when one of the most famous string quartets in the world, the Brodsky Quartet, make their appearance at the High School as part of an extensive UK tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of the quartet’s inception.
The programme will be revealed on the night by spinning the ‘Wheel of Fourtunes’. They will bring into the concert 40 scores divided into four sections representing firstly good opening works, then a selection of suitable works to play second, then a third group, and a choice of strong fourth works to finish.
