It’s panto season once again and this week the Right Angle Theatre Companystages The Twelve Days of Christmas in the Volunteer Hall, Galashiels.

Written by Allan Frayn, the panto, while perhaps not following the traditional route, is packed full of the usual comedy moments that all add up to a brilliant family night out.

Taking you on a festive journey around the world, the panto centres on a group of goodies who are trying to save Christmas.

Produced by Susan Shearer, with assistance from Val Smillie, the musical direction is again under the professional hand of Derek Calder, who also doubles up as the Dame. Well, you can’t have a panto without a Dame! Choreography has been devised by Lauren Gracie.

The show runs until Saturday (December 13), with the curtain going up at 7pm.Tickets are available from Fountain News, Iain Smith & Partners and Nobles Fish Shop.
