We’re piping in the rain...!

Despite the rain, and some of the planned recitals being called off, there was a good turnout for the Pipe Band Championships at Melrose, with 16 bands performing.

Member of the organising committee, Ann Hazzard, told us: “When we all got to Melrose it was raining, but pipe bands don’t worry about that, they just get on with it!”
